The Strategic Roadmap for the production of consumer goods at the level of small and medium enterprises in the Republic of Azerbaijan, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 6, 2016, envisages the creation of new business associations and strengthening the existing associations.

On August 4, 2020, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan (KOBIA) ) was established by the “Azerbaijan Construction Manufacturers Association” (ATIA) Union of Commercial Legal Entities and was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan on October 5, 2020, under registration number 1120-Q74-3858.

“Azerbaijan Construction Manufacturers Association” (ATIA) is a non-profit organization of the Union of Commercial Legal Entities (hereinafter referred to as ATIA), united on the basis of common interests, voluntariness, equality of participants (members).

ATIA is a platform that protects the interests of member organizations, provides them with necessary and useful information and services, serves the development of the construction sector, and discusses experiences, ideas and initiatives.

The main purpose of ATIA is to actively participate in the development of the construction sector of Azerbaijan, the formation and systematization of common standards in the construction sector, to coordinate their activities, to develop socio-economic, information and other development programs by assisting the development of construction companies operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan. and to increase scientific knowledge in this field, as well as to represent and defend their common interests. At the same time, the Union aims to create a single platform for construction companies, to achieve effective establishment and development of cooperation between construction companies, to improve the quality of construction products and services, to assist participants in international construction markets, as well as to actively participate in national construction exhibitions.

In order to achieve the goals of ATIA, it carries out the following tasks: – Creation of appropriate infrastructure to ensure sustainable development in the field of construction production (construction of apartment houses, individual houses and various non-residential facilities, as well as construction of bridges, tunnels, etc.); – coordination of commercial legal entities operating in this field and consolidation of efforts for the organization of public benefit activities; – Representation and protection of the interests of the members of the Union before the state bodies, playing the role of a bridge between the voluntary organizations and the state bodies; – establishment of international (bilateral and multilateral) cooperation in the field of construction production, study of international experience and promotion of Azerbaijan’s experience in the world.
