The event “Sustainable horizons: Azerbaijan’s path to green construction investments” was organized with the organization of the International Finance Corporation, the Azerbaijan Association of Construction Manufacturers and the organizational support of the Azerbaijan Banks Association.

The event “Sustainable horizons: Azerbaijan’s path to green construction investments” was organized with the organization of the International Finance Corporation, the Azerbaijan Association of Construction Manufacturers and the organizational support of the Azerbaijan Banks Association.
Together with the participants, the principles and practices of “Green building”, the promotion of adaptation to international standards and practices in the “Green construction area”, especially the standards set by the European Union, and the relevance and benefits of adopting these standards in Azerbaijan were discussed.
At the event, successful green building projects were presented, solutions to problems and impacts were assessed, including extensive discussions on the key role of green buildings in achieving global climate goals.
At the event, the main purpose of which was to showcase successful case studies and best practices worldwide, to create a platform for networking and cooperation between professional researchers, public and private sector stakeholders, and a number of government officials, heads of construction companies, as well as members of our Association, ATIA Ramiz Isayev, Chairman of the Board of Directors, spoke about how important the “green building” project is to prevent environmental pollution and the appropriateness of the work to be done in this regard.
