A conference titled “New Perspectives for the Development Existing Housing Stock in Baku” took place at the Social Research Center.The event was jointly organized by the Social Research Center, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (KOBİA), the Azerbaijan Construction Manufacturers Association (ATİA), the Mediation Council, and the Azerbaijan Society of Appraisers. Key representatives from the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan also attended. Ramiz Isayev, Chairman of the Board of ATİA, addressed the audience, focusing on the challenges entrepreneurs in the construction industry face. He highlighted significant issues in the demolition and relocation processes and underscored the urgent need for greater transparency and improvements in legal frameworks to address these concerns.
