A meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to discuss the negative impact of restrictions on the daytime movement of heavy-duty vehicles transporting construction materials to Baku and the regions on the construction sector.
The meeting, organized at the Government House to discuss the issues raised, was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Baku City Executive Authority, the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), as well as Ramiz Isayev, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Construction Manufacturers Association (ATİA).
The parties discussed the impact of the existing restrictions on the construction sector, the regulation of traffic flows, the identification of alternative routes, the improvement of special permit mechanisms, and the optimization of logistics processes.
As a result of the meeting, initiated by the Entrepreneurship Development Policy and Regulation Department of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, it was agreed to comprehensively examine the issues raised and prepare relevant proposals within the framework of mutual cooperation.
