At the First Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, a panel session titled “Sea Breeze and Real Estate” was held
New trends in the real estate market in Azerbaijan and internationally, urban planning practices, and major infrastructure projects were discussed.
Under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the panel session “Sea Breeze and Real Estate” took place in Baku within the framework of the First Azerbaijan International Investment Forum.
The discussion, moderated by Stanislav Alexandrov, a representative of “Agalarov Development,” focused on new trends in the real estate market in Azerbaijan and worldwide, urban planning practices, and the impact of large infrastructure projects on the national economy. Information was also presented regarding the World Urban Planning Forum to be held in Baku in 2026.
Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Anar Guliyev and the President of “Agalarov Development,” founder and owner of Sea Breeze Emin Agalarov shared their views on the development of residential areas in Azerbaijan and internationally, new formats and market dynamics, as well as the influence of large-scale urban planning projects on the country’s economy, employment, transportation, tourism, and other sectors.
The panel discussions featured Darren Combe, CEO of “Scott Brownrigg”; Abdullah Alsuiry, Director of Development at “New Murabba Development”; Petr Kudryavtsev, Founder of “CM International”; Professor of Architecture and Urban Planning Ali Alraouf; David Jenkins, Vice President for Business Development in Eastern Europe at “Radisson Hotel Group”; Alexis Feuillat, Director of Development for the CIS, Türkiye, and Israel at “Intercontinental Hotel Group”; Umut Kara, Vice President of International Marketing at “Merit Hotels & Casinos”; and Ritvika Sethi, Senior Manager at “MEAIT & Rixos & All-Inclusive Collection.” They shared their perspectives on opportunities and technological innovations in implementing urban development projects.
Several documents were signed during the panel session:
- A Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between “Sea Breeze Resort” and “Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts by IHG,” providing for the construction of a 195-room, 4-star hotel. The document was signed by Emin Agalarov, Founder of “Sea Breeze Resort” and President of “Agalarov Development,” and Alexis Feuillat, Director of Development for the CIS, Türkiye, and Israel at “Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts by IHG.”
- A Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between “Sea Breeze Resort” and MEAIT and “Rixos,” providing for the construction of a 5-star hotel with 504 rooms and 20 villas. The document was signed by Emin Agalarov and Ritvika Sethi, Senior Development Manager at MEAIT and “Rixos.”
- A Memorandum of Cooperation between “Sea Breeze Resort” and “Digital Residence,” signed by Emin Agalarov and Denis Rudnik, Project Manager at “Digital Residence.”
- A Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation for the development of medical tourism and the “Sea Breeze Health Valley” projects, signed by Emin Agalarov and Konstantin Grinfeld, Head of “Sea Breeze Health Valley.”
- A Memorandum of Understanding on joint evaluation of potential medical cluster projects, including feasibility studies, signed between the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund (ABIF) and “Sea Breeze Health Valley” (“Sea Breeze Resort”). The document was signed by Yasin Jalilov, Executive Director of ABIF, and Konstantin Grinfeld, Head of “Sea Breeze Health Valley.”
- A Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between “Sea Breeze Resort,” “Sana Hospital Group,” and “Don Agro International,” providing for the creation of an international multidisciplinary medical center. The document was signed by Konstantin Grinfeld, Director of “Sea Breeze Health Valley,” Sven Heininger, Director of International Relations at “Sana Hospital Group,” and Marat Devlet-Kildeyev, CEO of “Don Agro International.”
- A Memorandum of Understanding between “Sea Breeze Resort” and the international hotel chain Radisson Hotel Group on the creation of a new hotel under the “Radisson Blu” brand. The document was signed by Emin Agalarov, owner and founder of “Sea Breeze Resort” and President of “Agalarov Development,” and David Jenkins, Vice President for Business Development in Eastern Europe at Radisson Blu. Under the memorandum, the parties will cooperate on the creation, management, and provision of international standard services for a hotel to operate under the “Radisson Blu” brand within the “Sea Breeze” area. The project aims to contribute to the development of tourism, international promotion, and the opening of new investment opportunities.
